Karan Johar to bring Kareena and John together??

Karan Johar is known for doing many things… like making hit movies, getting bollywood stars to spill out things they would have never said anywhere else (Koffee with Karan), and then he is also known for bringing Bollywood stars together!

Yesterday we told you that Karan Johar had cast Kajol and Kareena together after Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham eight years ago, for his remake of Chris Columbus Stepmom. Now Karan has convinced John to star opposite both, Kajol and Kareena. The interesting part is that this marks the end of the John-Kareena jhagda.
The cold war between Kareena Kapoor and John Abraham started when Kareena called John expressionless on Karan Johars chat show Koffee with Karan, and John retorted that she was over-expressive . But all that seems to be a matter of the past. Kareena and John have now gone ahead and surprised many by signing a film. Ironically, the man on whose talk show this tu-tumain-main transpired is instrumental in bringing the duo together.

Johns role was earlier offered to Saif Ali Khan, who declined it because apparently he didnt think the audience would accept him as Kajols as well as Kareenas husband. This is the second time Saif has refused Karan Johar. Earlier Saif turned down Dostana which also featured John.

According to a source, Dharma Productions were earlier toying with the idea of getting a senior actor like Anil Kapoor or Anupam Kher to play Kajol and Kareenas husband. Karan wants a young cast. He doesnt want his version of Stepmom to be targeted at the older generation. With Kajol, Kareena and John in the picture this becomes a jazzy new-age version of Stepmom, the source said.

Kareena works 36 hour non-stop!!

Here’s another girl (just like Priyanka) who needs to take some rest, but doesn’t just so they can entertain us!! Aren’t we special!!! Anyways recently Kareena Kapoor shot for 36 hours non-stop! Plus, can’t wait till Kambakht Ishq comes out!!

Kareena Kapoor is currently juggling between a lot of films and has been shuttling from one set to the other. The actress is so caught up with work that she even shot continuously for 36 hours without a break. And she didn’t even complain about being tired or not getting enough rest.

The people on the sets said that this is what superstars are made of and that it was very commendable that Kareena finished what she had to do without any complaints.

Hardwork such as this has definitely put Kareena in the position that she is today. Having worked her way into the film industry, Kareena has never taken her success lightly. She had earlier said that she was very adamant and hell-bent on becoming an actress and would give her all to establish herself. “I plunged myself into acting and there has been no looking back since. Yes, there is a lot of compromise, negativity and criticism that comes with it but if you want to achieve something and follow your dreams, you have to go through the grind. Only then will you reach your goal. I have done that and I am glad where I am today,” she says.

Kareena is currently shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Kambakkht Ishq, Raj Kumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots, Saif Ali Khan’s Agent Vinod, Prem Soni’s Mr and Mrs Khanna and an untitled Rensil D’Silva film.

My Comment: I would be shocked, I would expect Deepika to break up with Ranbir if anything! But at the same time I would be kind of happy ( sorry Ranbir-Deepika fans) because I always wanted Ranbir to date Sonam Kapoor. Plus Deepika’s gorgeous she could get many other guys!

1) Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra

Once upon a time, they were the best of friends. They simply couldn?t get enough of each other. Bebo and Piggy chops, as they are known in the film fraternity, revelled in their friendship that kicked off when they were filming a Pepsi commercial.

But disaster struck when the two were pitted against each other in Aitraaz. Piggy chops won accolades and awards alike for her vamp act. That didn?t go down well with Madame Kapoor. To make matters worse, Priyanka?s sexy act in Aaj ki raat overshadowed Kareena?s sultry cameo in Don?s Yeh Mera Dil.

When Karan Johar asked the light-eyed beauty what she felt about Piggy chops, the latter simply refused to acknowledge her presence in the film industry. Seems like old wounds don?t heal soon!

2) Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta

Onscreen, they were the best of buddies. This friendship was evident off screen too. But one fine day their friendly relationship went kaput, just like that. The two were apparently very uncomfortable while sharing screen space in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.

Though the effervescent Zinta refused to comment on their long-lost friendship, Rani confessed on Koffee with Karan that they are friends no more!

3) Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rani Mukerjee

It was the war between the queen of hearts and the queen of the masses. Rani Mukerjee and Aishwarya Rai were bosom buddies. The story goes that Rani fondly called Ash, Ashuma.

But all that went down the drain when Salman Khan came into the picture. Everyone knows that Ash was the first choice for Shah Rukh Khan starrer Chalte Chalte. She had already started shooting for it. But one day Salman stormed into the film?s sets and created a ruckus, thanks to his fiery temper.

Ash had to bear the brunt and she was immediately replaced by Rani, one of her best friends. That spelt doom for the friendship.

The rivalry just grew severe when Abhishek Bachchan shared a sizzling chemistry with Rani in Yuva and Bunty aur Babli. It made Ash go green with envy and issue a warning to Bachchan jr to maintain a safe distance from the husky beauty. Talk about someone being insecure!

Love trouble for Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone??..Again!!

We alway’s here Ranbir-Deepika fighting over this and that..but when I read this article it somehow seemed so true! Well, who knows what’s really going on with these two.

A close pal of the couple reveals, “Last week Deepika was to join Ranbir for going to Dostana director Tarun Mansukhani’s birthday party late at night. Since she got stuck due to her work commitments (shooting of Excel Entertainment’s Kartik Calling Kartik), Ranbir told her he would go alone to the party. But despite telling her so, he didn’t go there. Instead he chose to attend another party that had his debut film Saawariya heroine Sonam Kapoor and her good friend Kunal Kapoor.

“He didn’t tell this to Deepika who was well under the impression for days that he was at Tarun’s party. John Abraham and Bipasha Basu too came in for the bash. When Deepika came to know about Ranbir’s lie, it is learnt that she lambasted him over the phone while he kept giving her excuses such as how it was all a last minute change in his plan etc.”

Also, just days back, Ranbir’s sister Riddhima told to a news channel journo on TV that she doesn’t think Deepika is Ranbir’s girlfriend and that she knows Deepika only as one of his good friends.
