3 kisses for Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor!!

There is also Kareena Kapoor, who is nobody’s fool, and that also everybody knows. But what is just coming out is that the film has three kisses as well that Hirani was not keen to publicise until the film’s launch date. All three kisses are between Aamir and Kareena, naturally.

Aamir, incidentally, famously kissed Kareena’s elder sister Karisma Kapoor in Dharmesh Darshan’s 1996 film Raja Hindustani – a kiss that still holds the record for being one of the most passionate in Bollywood history. And for which, Aamir and Karisma had reportedly done umpteen rehearsals.

The actor continues to be a perfectionist with exacting standards. For a scene in 3 Idiots where Kareena blows him a kiss, they apparently did 14 retakes. That was Kiss No. 1. Aamir improvised then and got Bebo to kiss him on the cheek next. And that was Kiss No. 2. But it’s Kiss No. 3 between the two superstars in the climax of the film over which the buzz has already begun. It’s said to be a proper lip-to-lip kiss.

Aamir and Kareena have a history of near misses. They were to do Mani Ratnam’s Lajjo, a film that had a strong physicality to it, which got shelved. Then Vishal Bharadwaj’s Mr Singh & Mrs Mehta, whose original heroine was Rani Mukerji, but Rani reportedly walked out when she heard there was a kiss involved because she had already got flak for kissing Kamal Haasan earlier in He Ram! That’s when Kareena stepped in… but again, Vishal’s film too didn’t take off. Finally, Aamir and Bebo have got together for 3 Idiots. Happily, the kiss has continued to follow them.

Salman Kapoor is known for the bad things, but now it’s time to realize the good in him!!

But here is proof that the dildar Pathan is more than generous as well. And the recipient of his generosity was the beautiful Kareena Kapoor, Salman’s co-star in Main Aur Mrs. Khanna.

In Melbourne on the shoot, the two stars who are friends would always be laughing, cracking jokes and having fun. And when pack-up was announced, Kareena would often go shopping. Once, Salman accompanied her to carry the bags! At one particular store, Bebo went on a shopping spree, picking up things for friends, family and herself.

When she went to settle the bill, she was zapped to be told her that it was already paid. Seeing Salman grinning from ear-to-ear, Kareena realised who her benefactor was. Of the things that Salman apparently ‘gifted’ her was a limited edition bag worth Rs 2. 5 lakh! She uses the bag in the film too. When asked about the incident, Kareena replied, “Salman’s generosity cannot be matched. It was a very sweet gesture on his part. He is a wonderful person at heart.

“I had to be a part of Wake Up Sid” Ranbir Kapoor!

Ranbir Kapoor is damn excited about WAKE UP SID. “When Ayan narrated the script – it was a 4-hour marathon session – I knew I had to be a part of it. Nothing else mattered. All I knew was, I had to do this film. That was the impact of its story,” Ranbir tells me.

Ranbir’s one gutsy actor and the best part is, the films are diverse in content. If there’s a coming of age WAKE UP SID, there’s also a rom-com AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI, a black comedy ROCKET SINGH or an intense RAJNEETI. “I never made a conscious decision. I received several offers, but I chose to do films that would appeal to me first and foremost,” Ranbir reveals.

Meanwhile, the supremely talented actor has done a remarkable job in WAKE UP SID, feels Karan Johar. “Ranbir has the power to hold a scene, which very few actors can boast of. Also, his choice of films is incredible. He’s extremely courageous,” Karan states.

Once Ranbir completes RAJNEETI, he moves on to Siddharth Anand’s film, which will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. “That’s the only film I’ve signed,” he clarifies.
