Kareena -Priyanka make-up time!!

The latest bone of contention between PC and Bebo is a make up artiste, Pompy. Pompy is a soft-spoken, wheat complexioned, lean Punjabi who is a magician with the powder puff and brush.

And both girls have worked with him from time to time for their commercials and films. Now both PC and Bebo are addicted to him; and the first thing they do when they sign a film, is to ensure that their respective secretaries calls up Pompy and makes sure his schedules match theirs.

A Bollywood source says, “When PC learnt that she had to go for Anjaana Anjaani to Bangkok with Ranbir Kapoor in November, her secretary tried his level best to get Pompy’s dates to match. Unfortunately the make up whiz was committed to accompany Bebo to Sydney where she is shooting with Kajol and Arjun Rampal for the Bollywood version of Stepmom.

It is also said that Bebo now thinks of Pompy as extended family and even invites Pompy for previews. Not so long ago, cousins Rani Mukherji and Kajol would both insist on Mickey Contractor doing their face.

And on the sets of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham Mickey did oblige. So guess if PC and Bebo do another Aitraaz, they will not have an objection to Pompy doing both their attractive faces.

Priyanka injured on the sets of ‘Anjaana Anjaani’!

Priyanka Chopra, it seems, is quite accident prone. Shooting for a scene in the ocean in Bangkok, the delicate actress has reportedly hurt her foot and sustained a minor injury. Priyanka was shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s Anjaana Anjaani.

A source from the unit revealed, “It was a minor accident and thankfully, with no major injuries to Priyanka. In Bangkok, Priyanka was required to do a scene in the ocean, where she unknowingly stepped on a pointed rock. As a result, she lost her grip and ended up getting bruised on her foot.”

“Director Siddharth Anand and the crew ran to her rescue, but luckily, nothing major had happened. The shoot wasn’t stalled. Priyanka just applied an ointment and was back on her feet for the shot. Ranbir Kapoor, reportedly, was not required for the scene and so wasn’t present. Priyanka is currently shooting in Pattaya, Thailand with the rest of the cast and crew,” the source added.

In the past, Priyanka has hurt herself while doing stunts for Drona and when shooting Kaminey she fell off the bike with her co-star Shahid Kapoor. Priyanka’s spokesperson confirms, “Priyanka’s foot hit a rock while shooting in the ocean. Nothing serious or major happened.” Priyanka was required to do a scene in the ocean, where she unknowingly stepped on a pointed rock.

My Word: Love Isha’s dress, it the best Bollywood wedding ceremony dress worn, till date. I think she pulled it off unlike Amrita Arora, Aishwarya Rai, or Ayesha Takia’s wedding dresses which were a huge disappointment! There is another real red Indian wedding dress that Isha changes into which I will post as soon as I find it!

Shahid’s hairy tales!!

When Shahid Kapoor’s Charlie avatar hit the theatres, it was not just his sexy bare bod that became a rage… but also his longish hair that took the fancy of the girls and guys alike.

Since then, Shahid has moved on to a really short crop that he is now maintaining for Parmeet Sethi’s next film. But his hairstylist is a busy woman thanks to Shahid’s hair… no, we are not talking about her maintaining his hair, but handling demands for giving Shahid’s hairstyle to others! “I used to get requests from people since his Kismet Konnection days for the ‘SK haircut’, but with Kaminey the demand for ‘Charlie hair’ suddenly exploded and people from places as far as Chandigarh, Indore and Delhi wanted his style,” exclaims Dilshad Pastakia. “Now that he has changed his hair again, the new short crop is just as popular, especially with the 17 to 22 year olds who like to stay trendy.” For those who came in late, Shahid Kapoor shares his hairstylist with Shah Rukh Khan.

Salman’s super impressed!

The actor says, “The action sequences involve hundreds of fighters, 1,000 plus horses, hundreds of elephant and camels, including huge sequences such as, a train robbery and a full-fledged war on the battlefield with a combat between troops.

Today, it’s rare to shoot with these large numbers, but director Anil Sharma felt it was a must to have larger than life sets, real locations with real animals, props etc. Art director Sanjay Dhabade has done an excellent job.

At times approximately 500 members of the art department worked at a time to erect various sets taking from 15-40 days to construct.” Looks like the super star is super impressed!
