She does go on record to say that, “It’s shameful for me to be only 22. When I am in the middle of intense conversations with people, I avoid questions about my age. I have a mind of 45-50 year-old-woman, which is scary. I don’t like to tell people my age. When I have conversations with producers and directors, it’s at a very human level and that’s how I treat people older than me. I can’t connect with people of my age: for me they are way too young. In a way, I have accepted that I feel way too old.”

She neither follows sports news, nor has ever watched a T20 game. So, what made Kangna Ranaut go to Eden Gardens to watch SRK’s knights flight Dhoni’s kings?

You were recently spotted at Eden Gardens cheering SRK’s team on against Dhoni’s boys. What prompted you to go to the stadium?
The IPL fever is high and having never seen a T20 game before, I was quite interested in experiencing this myself. The event organisers had invited me to come for the match. I had the evening open. So, I decided to go.

How much of a cricket buff are you? Do you read the sports pages of a paper or rather follow the articles on sportstars that are published in the entertainment sections of newspapers?
Honestly, I’ve never been a sports person. My interests were always more inclined towards the arts — dancing, music, drama. I don’t follow sporting news either. But, I must say the match was very interesting and I found myself praying hard for Shah Rukh’s team, who I am really rooting for.

Do you understand the technicalities of the game? Can you tell between a third man and gulley?
I understand the game broadly and so can follow it. I understand how a batsman gets out, how runs are scored and the eventual goal of the game. But, the finer nuances are not something I’m so familiar with. I did really enjoy the match though I wish Team Kolkata had won!

With stars buying IPL teams, how difficult is the choice of deciding which team to root for?
I’ve not been following the matches per se or taking sides. But, I’m definitely cheering for Team Kolkata at the moment. And they’ve been playing so well this season. It’s early days yet, so fingers crossed!

Are IPLs also increasing the feelings of camps in Bollywood? Isn’t being present on the grounds for a particular star owner of an IPL team also an indication of who you are aligned to?
I have not experienced this really. I would definitely try and attend any event a friend invited me to if I did not have a prior commitment like a shoot or something.

There are matches being played in Himachal Pradesh. Do you plan to go there too? Have you ever played cricket as a child?
I have never played cricket, but I have heard that the Himachal grounds are stunning. I am shooting for six movies that release this year. So, it is an exceptionally busy time. I don’t think I will be able to attend those matches, but I would love to if I was free.

Cricketers today have a very hectic schedule with a lot of travel. Would you be game being in a relationship with someone with such hectic travel schedules? Or would you prefer someone who is more stationed since your own profession requires you to travel a lot and long distance relationships sometimes don’t work?
I don’t think you can choose who you are going to fall in love with. Each relationship has its own great aspects and challenges. So, I will take that as it comes and when it does.

If you are offered to do a film on women’s cricket, would the idea excite you?
I’d be interested in doing any good script with a good director, cast etc. It would really depend on the story. So, if it is a good script, sure why not?

Kangna and Dino kiss..a lie??

At the second wedding anniversary party of Sanjay and Manyata Dutt on Friday night, Dino Morea and Kangana Ranaut as guests had some great lovey-dovey time, Photos are the proof. It’s obvious from the photos that Dino and Kangna had a very intimate-passionate kissy with closed eyes, completely enjoying it, though it was on the cheek.

Dino attended the party without his steady girlfriend Nandita Mahatani and Kangna as we all know is already single, looking for naya bakra. Kangna and Dino both complimented each other, as both are famous for their breakups and on-off relationships. Whereas Kangna is not at all miffed by the photos, Dino is trying his best to put the records straight. Dino is now clearing his side of story on twitter to public and may be to Nandita.

Dino tweeted today that reports about him and Kangna getting together were “far from the truth”.

Kissy when?
When they both decided to leave the party at the same time, they hugged each other quite warmly and the peck on the cheek was as hot as it gets.

Kangna can’t watch Irrfan dance!

The incident happened in Pune when Irrfan was doing a take-off on Katrina Kaif’s song Touch me touch me from Race. Mani was shooting a song picturised on Kangna and Irrfan, which has them in separate frames. When Kangna was done with her portions, she sat aside and started watching Irrfan’s dance moves.

A source said, “When Irrfan started dancing, he kept fumbling and was feeling very uncomfortable. He saw many people around and asked Mani to ask some crew members to leave the sets. However, Kangna being the heroine of the film remained on the sets. That’s when Irrfan and producer Sohail Maklai requested Kangna to leave too.”

How did Kangna react? “Kangna took it very sportingly. She is a through professional and understood that Irrfan, who is not habituated to dancing, was feeling rather awkward in her presence,” said our source.

Confirming the story, Maklai said, “Yeah. We requested Kangna to wait outside the sets. Irrfan was very shy but in the end, he did a mind-blowing job.”

Kangna Ranaut splits up with boyfriend!

 

After Kangna and Adhyayan surprised people by hooking up, they went on to make their relationship official with uninhibited public declarations of love. News of their split, after a year of being together, has shocked many, including Kangna, as Adhyayan has initiated the move. Apparently , erratic schedules and time spent apart in different locations for their films has taken its toll. That Adhyayan’s father, Shekhar Suman, never liked Kangna and went out of his way to say uncomplimentary things about her, must surely have contributed to the split.

Adhyayan confirmed the split, Yes, we’ve moved on from this relationship . I guess this was how long it was meant to last. At this point, I really want to focus on my career and professional commitments. Sustaining a long distance relationship of this intensity is a tough task.

Kangna admitted they had moved on, and that she was shocked by Adhyayan’s decision. Adhyayan and I had a talk about our relationship and it was his decision to move on. It came as a shock to me. But I guess he has other priorities now, and many options in terms of people to be with. It’s an amicable break-up and I wish him the best.

According to our source, Kangna who had been shooting for a film in Hyderabad for a long spell, met Adhyayan for dinner recently. The source said, After a calm and mature discussion , they decided to end their relationship mutually. More than Kangna, Adhyayan was keen on a break-up .

Kangna and Adhyayan now feel that they need to concentrate on their career, rather than on a serious relationship . Lately, work has been keeping them very busy. They feel that the relationship is heading nowhere and so it is best to nip it at the right time, added the source.

Apparently, one of the reasons for the break-up is also that Shekhar Suman wants Adhyayan to marry the daughter of a Mumbai-based prominent wealthy builder.
Rumour had it that Adhyayan’s alleged link-ups with Shahana Goswami and Anjana Sukhani fuelled the breakup . The source brushed it off by saying , There was no truth to the rumours .

The source further revealed, Things were fine between them till some time ago. Kangna had been shooting in Hyderabad , while Adhyayan’s shoots kept him busy. Kangna will now be busy with three films No Problem, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai and an untitled international project. She will be flying off to Switzerland and South Africa to shoot for the next three months. Adhyayan will be busy promoting Jashan, shooting for Dekh Bhai Dekh and two other films after that.
