Ranbir calls Katrina bhabhi (sister-in-law)!!

Ranbir Kapoor would secretly tease Katrina Kaif and call her Bhabhiji while shooting for Prakash Jha’s Raajneeti in Bhopal. Actually, Katrina plays Ranbir’s sister-in-law and Arjun Rampal’s widow in Raajneeti.

Far from their romantic role in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, this is a highly unconventional relationship in a film that will test the performing abilities of both Ranbir and Katrina beyond anything they’ve attempted so far on screen.

Katrina is supposed to have said, “Ranbir and I can’t get anymore unconventional than Raajneeti where we both go into a completely new space. Now if and when we do another film it should be something totally mainstream.”

Ranbir-Katrina burn the dance floor!

Though Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif avoid being seen together as ‘friends’ in front of the press, once they are away from the prying eyes of the media, the two really have a rocking time.

That’s what happened at Arjun Rampal’s nightclub in Delhi when they had gone to the capital along with the Raajneeti team to promote their film. After the press event, the lead actors quietly slipped out with Arjun to his nightclub and burned the dance floor there.

Arjun and Ranbir, who have become best buddies, saw to it that they dragged Nana Patekar and Manoj Bajpayee on the floor too. “While Katrina and Ranbir had visited Arjun’s nightclub the last time they were in Delhi for Rohit Bal’s fashion show, they were eager to return. But the others, specially Nana, were reluctant to go. However, Arjun pulled him along. Nana later on danced like there’s no tomorrow!” said one of the revellers.
“Everyone danced till morning. We had a blast. While shooting for Raajneeti, we used to constantly joke, poke fun at each other and at ourselves while doing those heavyduty scenes on camera,” said Arjun.

Gurgaon, April 3 (IANS) After working with model-turned-National Award winner Arjun Rampal in “Raajneeti”, Ranbir Kapoor considers him a “brother for life” and says he loves him so much that he feels extremely jealous of Arjun’s wife.
“I have had a wonderful time working with Arjun in ‘Raajneeti’. He is my brother for life. I love him a lot. In fact I love him so much, so much that I am jealous that Mehr is his wife,” Ranbir said while addressing a press conference at the Galaxy Hotel here Saturday.

The two actors were in a fun mood as they stood up and started clapping as soon as their co-actor Katrina Kaif stepped on to the stage. They even banged the table instead of clapping later, and Ranbir kept dropping the cap of a plastic water bottle placed on the dais.

Even Arjun went out of his way to confess his feelings for Ranbir as well as the other cast and crew members of ‘Raajneeti’, directed by critically acclaimed Prakash Jha.

“I have found a good friend in Prakash, guide in Nana (Patekar) sir, enemy in Manoj (Bajpai), a younger brother in Ranbir and Katrina has been a wonderful person who lets me pull her leg,” Arjun said.

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, who will be seen in a new ‘avatar’, donning a de-glam look in her upcoming film ‘Rajneeti’, says her instincts and script prospects take precedence while choosing a  movie.

“I go by my instincts and the potential of the script, and I am looking forward to the release of ‘Rajneeti’ this year where I get to share screen space with some of the finest talents of the film industry,” the 25-year-old actor told PTI.

‘Rajneeti’, a political saga, directed by Prakash Jha is scheduled for a June 4 release.

The success of ‘New York’, in which she played a serious role unlike her successful comedies, has not changed the way she handles her career, the actress said.

Katrina is currently shooting for Farah Khan’s ‘Tees Maar Khan’ with Akshay Kumar, a co-star with whom she has given most of her hits.

Also, she has been recently signed as the brand ambassador of Lux.

“Lux is an iconic brand synonymous with beauty and  film stars, and it will be a wonderful association for both of us. The idea of using our national flower lotus with enhanced beauty oils was good,” she said.

On her own skin care regime, Katrina said she makes it a point to remove her make up very carefully. “Besides, I am careful with the kind of products I use and endorse,” she said.
